Why are mammals sex organs the same ones they use to urinate with?

  1. Isn't that a poor evolutionary trait? Shouldn't there be seperate parts for that?

  2. well piss and semen do not come from the same areas.. they just wind up in the same lane after exiting their separate areas. same for women and their vag.. you aren't sticking it in their peehole because they aren't peeing out of their uterus.. come on bro bro.. basic anatomy..

  3. Its like air going thru your nose down thru ir neck and food going into your mouth and down thru ur neck i guess man

  4. that is bad, approximately 2,500 people die from choking per year...

Dolphins are mamals though and they have different eatting and breathing holes....

  5. How about your balls dangling between your legs? Doesnt seem like a safe place.

  6. they dangle because they need to be a lower temp. than your body so your sperm develops correctly...

but they could have a bit more protection than just hangin' there ready to be slightly grazed so you can wind up in the floor holding your stomach...

  7. Lol right! I dont see why they cant be internal with a lot of blood flowing around them. Your explanation presupposes sperms sensitivity to temperature. Had our balls been internal maybe our sperm would have developed to not be such pussies?

  8. true, but then our soilder ass sperm we would have wouldnt just be the "lucky one" to impregnate, they would all get in and kill the poor woman when she exploded

  9. Just to be clear i was a soldier sperm.

It's evidence that were weren't intelligently designed.. Just sayin'
Evolution does need to to make sense, it just needs to be functional.

I remember hearing a debate between Richard Dawkins and Neil Tyson, where Dawkins explained about the larynx nerve in the giraffe starts a few inches from the larynx, then travels all the way down the neck, loops around an artery near the heart, then right back up the neck and to the larynx.
    Pretty fuckin' crazy.

  11. but you were the only one, if it was the way you described for sperm, then you woulda ran in with a convoy...

  12. Two of my least liked people to listen to.

Apparently evolution selected such a path because it was beneficial for some reason. Id be willing to bet its an incomplete understanding on our part, i could be wrong though.

Human Anatomy is a beautiful thing, and honestly although we have alot of "flaws" genetically and evolutionary wise at least we have an expansive consciousness right? To our knowledge there aren't other species like us with the same desire of spirituality, connection to self and the ecosystems around us. Besides, honestly we are still a very young species that is actually still quite ignorant to the fact that we certainly still know very little about what's around us.

A giraffe is still a functional animal that is able to eat, sleep, and fuck and reproduce so whether or not some parts of its' larynx needs to take a huge detour doesn't matter, zip nada nothing.

Ever heard the saying, 'don't fuck with what ain't broken' ? That is nature. If it works, it works and will continue to work. If it starts failing for whatever reason, then it will either die off, or have to evolve and adapt to survive. Survival in the basic sense, means acquiring food, shelter, and reproduction.

  15. Idk why but gifs dont work on my phone or just the grasscity mobil app

  16. I think the 'bad design' argument against a designer is a poor argument. Any design has a its competing qualities such as aesthetics, function, form, efficiency, strength etc. You could always plead for something more until you are a god yourself. At the same time if 'bad design' is evidence against a designer then could all 'good designs' be evidence for a designer? A machine living for 80 years constantly repairing and replacing its trillions of cellular components and passing on its blueprint and epigenetics is vastly superior to any machine the brilliant mind of man has approached.

  17. Ya but then you wouldn't be able to cough which has probably saved billions of lives from people choking

  18. Nah it's not poor just convenient I guess

  19. It would cost more energy to have two separate organs. Mammals are very inefficient we need to eat a lot to keep up with our bodies, every chance where you can save energy helps.

  20. Why not combine with our feces like birds? In one door out one door.
