TGA Super soil issues

  1. so I'm flowering 4 plants under a large hood using tga super soil. I have four plants that I vegged 36 days under led. Now I'm flowering under 1000w hortilux hps. The bagged super soil is on the bottom 40%-45% of a 5 gallon pot. With the rest of the soil being the tga base soil.

I noticed week 4 that the buds are not linking and getting fat. Really dissappear ed and am going to start feeding. I notice the nitrogen is getting low also as the plants are started to yellow and we're only 4 weeks in.

Why am I not getting subcool results when I'm using his soil and methodology?

  2. How did it turn out? I was on thinking on making super soil for my grow also.

  3. I've never tried it personally, but a lot of people do use it. However, it's my understanding that the soil is supposed to feed your plants for their entire lives. Somehow, I doubt this the way a MJ plant can grow so voraciously under the right conditions, but like I said, I've never used it myself. We buy Roots Organics Original and that's the best formulated grow soil out there that I've found. I have to be very careful about adding nutrients because it feeds our plants for so long. It's insanely expensive, but worth every penny I pay for the results I get using it. But you can always repot that plant into some fresh soil for the remainder of the flowering cycle. They're tough and I transplant them during flower all the time...to try to keep from having to water every other day. LOL TWW
