I've been hearing about hemp wick a lot recently but I don't get what's so good about it because a flame is a flame right and if I want to make some does it have to be with beeswax and hemp string or can I use normal string and normal wax
look up humbolt hempwick you can get a sample for free and it has to be hemp wick and beeswax the idea is that it's a cleaner flame then say what comes from butane i personally love the stuff but it's kinda annoying to use
Get the thicker one. Yellow flames have more contaminants than a clean blue flame. I prefer torch lighters but it's good to have a variety of lighting instruments.
I always use hempwick when combusting. Just tastes better, easier to control the size of the flame and smaller flame equals lower temp which leads to more flavour.
Hey dude, Hemp wick is a cooler burning flame then any other material such as cotton. The taste difference is out of this world. I find my self continously buying PocketWick because it's like a dispenser in its own... I hate raw and Ital just having a clump of wick...
Josh from Strain Central did a good comparison on this topic. Sent from my Moto G (4) using Grasscity Forum mobile app
So I heard burning plant matter and long chain hydrocarbons such as beeswax/hemp creates PAHs (polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons) - aka carcinogens. Doesn't this make butane safer to smoke with?
