It's bothered me ever since I started smoking weed. I love joints and blunts, but I just can't roll for shit. I used to have dealers sell them to me pre-rolled, and when I see pictures of Colorado/Washington dispensaries selling dozens of pre-rolled joints in jars, it gives me a weed boner.

But I just can't do it! I've watched every youtube video on how to roll, read every article, asked my friends to show me how they do it, all to no avail. I've rolled probably thirty joints in my life, and maybe five of them were smokable, and even then they burned terrible.

I'm not asking for a tutorial. Trust me, after ten years of smoking I've given up. I'm just wondering if there's any other stoners on here who would love to roll but can't, and are so jealous when they watch their friends roll a super joint in a matter of minutes.

  2. I was rolling cigarettes before I was rolling weed, so I guess that gave me the upper hand.. everyone has their own method, it's hard to learn something that requires dexterity just by watching. you gotta practice over and over to get it.

I roll perfect joints and blunts (imo) that never run or clog. beginning to end.

I know you said you didn't want any tuts, but here's something I have shown to help others learn to roll:

(bare with me, I did this in paint in less than 10 seconds lol)

by simply adding (even, and the same direction as original) folds, anywhere between 2-3, it'll help you roll easier. make sure to crease them as good as original fold is creased.

the extra folds will help guide you has you roll.

  3. you can invest in a 8 dollor joint roller and you are set

  4. I'm still learning. I've been smoking only for a couple years now. I do a crap job. But showing improvement.

  5. I appreciate you making this. Do I put weed in each fold?

  6. This is me. This is me to a tee. I'm either always with someone who knows how to roll, or carrying a piece. My connects give me shit about it now and then.

  7. I find it funny as well, sometimes I roll better than guys who roll daily, i roll about once a year.
I do have excellent muscle memory from rolling a pound of schwagg long ago.

  8.
No. put the weed in the center over original fold and roll normal.

  9. For some it's hard to learn, but it really is like riding a bike. Once you've got a good technique, you can spin one up in ~10 seconds if required.

  10. If I don't roll for like ten days or so my blunt game gets pretty weak. If you love joints/ blunts then just keep rolling, you'll get the hang of it, I don't love rolling so I don't mind not rolling the blunt, my joints are usually on point though this guy with the riding a bike analogy is correct imo

  11. I used to roll very bad joints, but over the years I've gotten much better and i can roll near-perfect joints now. I always found that rolling joints with a filter/crutch always is easier than without one, but either way it will take a lot of practice.
I don't think i will ever be able to pearl a blunt if i haven't been able to yet.. i don't know what it is, but I just can't get it to stick after i tuck it.
There are other options to roll a joint which doesn't involve the actual rolling process, like this ine where you use a credit cars to tuck the paper behind the weed (you can find it on youtube if you look up mastahrolla's video).
    Joints yes, blunts... no way.

  12. I have always been good at rolling for some reason but my sister has never been able to no matter how many times I try to teach her. She seriously hates it lol what can I say I've always been good with my hands

  13. The answer is practice. A couple cheap 300 packs of papers and a big bag of tea, oregano, anything you can use to mimic the texture of herb without having to practice with your actual stash. Took me years to really get good and I still fuck up joints here and there, but practicing got me to where I could roll nice ones by virtue of having just sat there and trying out every little thing that didn't work first.

  14. I used to not be able to roll years ago... it just takes the right technique and some practice. try rolling with a split cigar, I found that they are the easiest to roll with

    Skate.

  15. I cannot roll a joint to save my life but I can roll blunts perfectly. Not sure why

  16. Rather just pour my stuff into a bowl and be done with it, screw trying to play origami for a long time only to have your j turn out shitty.

  17. How do the extra folds help guide me then?

  18. The extra folds will make tucking the paper and getting a roll going easier

  19. If you can't roll a joint, then you're probably pretty bad at foreplay.... Don't watch tons of videos and instructionals for it... just buy a few packs of papers and practice. If you don't have it down after that just give up
