I have no clue what this means......... Maybe try an actual conversation, on the phone, there is a function on those shiny rectangles where you can talk to the other person in real time........ no emoji's, no broken english, no buffer time, real conversation.
Maybe cause they can't understand what you're saying? As for the "this generation is fucked" comment... Every generation has said that about the generation that comes after them, pretty much without fail. All the "kids these days" comments and blah blah blah. For one, it doesn't accomplish anything. For two, somehow, someway, most people manage to succeed in their lives, regardless of the social climate around them, or the doubting older generations. There are always exceptions to the rule.

I didnt even bother to read the whole first post. I have two things to say. 1) There literally were people in ANCIENT CIVILIZATIONS that were saying "The world / this generation is fucked" 2) Try speaking on the phone instead of texting. Better yet, maybe take someone on a date and have a FACE TO FACE conversation.

My generation is disgusting. I honestly can say every friend I've ever had IRL was a piece of shit. I cant even date because I have to compete with these hypersexual motherfuckers, who just want another notch on the belt. Because of this, i've sworn off dating entirely. What's the point when you have to keep fighting?
While I kind of agree I think it's probably fair to say that every generation has thought this about the 'new' generation.

I don't just dislike the next generation. I dislike my own. I dont even like most people several years older than me. My kids aren't getting cell phones until they're teens, and those will be some shitty phones. I might not even keep a tv outside of my own bedroom.
A lot of millennials prefer to text and won't even answer their phones. They ignore the phone call and text you afterwards. They need to be looking at that screen. I am part of that generation and I don't understand the aversion to actual human contact. People can't even go to a movie without playing with their phones through the whole thing.
This kinda comes off an an "it's everybody except me who's the problem" sort of thing. Find people you have something in common with, why talk to someone who talks a bunch of shit that you dont understand? Obviously most people are sheep but thats because its our instinct to want to fit in. Everybody needs to find their own crowd and not worry about what the others are doing unless its to laugh at them. Im sure they find your way of life just as confusing.
The reason is because in every generation people have sucked lol. Sure, it might sound like a broken record, but there are definitely some legitimately shitty things about people in this generation.
