Ok, this is my second grow indoors. My 1st Journal so be easy on me folks, haha. I am trying something different and seeing how it works out. The plan: (1) plant: Gold Leaf from ilovegrowingmarijauna.com: see below (2) 28 gallon totes: see below (4) air pumps: see below (1) submersible water pump (1) pre-filter for water (1) 1,000w HPS (1) 1,200w LED (1) 6" outake fan (1) 4" intake fan (1) 6" air scrubber (1) 4" air scrubber CO2 Monitor PH/water temp/PPM Digital Meter 5 x 5 Lighthouse Tent I going to start tomorrow, have a couple of purchases to make, should be up and running this weekend and complete by the end of next week. I already have the plant ready for flower tent and SCROG will be the method. ADVANCED NUTRIENTS BABY! Sensi Bloom 1stsfdoc Sent from my iPad using Grasscity Forum
How are you planning on running the co2. I ask because you listed intake and outake fans. Running co2 and exhausting your space is a waste. If your room ir tent was sealed without exhausting the air would be ideal for co2 enrichment
I will run the vents on 15 minutes just enough to keep temps/humidity where I want it. I did that on my current grow and it worked great, it kept my ppm between 1,200 and 1,500. 1stsfdoc Sent from my iPad using Grasscity Forum
Ok got behind, but a full day of work today. Got tent up, tubs painted, setup. Testing rig overnight and here is the baby going in tomorrow. Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
Damnit, leaks...should have put more thought and effort into it. Well, going to try another tactic, 24 hrs for calking to dry, test and some touch up paint. Looks like Monday will be transfer time if all works out. 1stsfdoc Sent from my iPad using Grasscity Forum
Ok, leaks fixed. Plant in. 10 hour day at work, then play beat the clock before my other flower tent went into dark mode. Starting at 600w and building up. Biggest problem was root ball had to be gently manipulated to fit into the mesh pot hole. But hopefully no damage done. Here is a shot of her in her new home. Major LST to do and get the Scrog in tomorrow. I am bushed. Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
I'm liking this. What LED is that? How many watts does it burn? Because you have an air cooled hood it would be worth giving it it's own fan and run ducting from outside the tents, through the hood, and back outside. That way you don't have to cleanse the air that passes through and its kept separate from the co2 enriched air It looks like you have a couple of piston air pumps in there, what LPM are those?
The LED in a Chinese generic, they rate it a 1,200...betting more around 750-1,000w. But I don't have a lux meter. The Pistons ran too hot, loud and hard. Using aquarium air pumps, and the black widow air tube setup(which I am very happy with), tons of fine small bubbles. I am running air through the HPS from outside the tent, using a 6" fan to suck both that and a carbon air scrubber. I am phasing up to the 2,000w. At 1k right now, will install the LED next week. The 1200 LEDs usually use about 600-650watts I think. I have a couple of air pumps just like those so I know what you mean about heat and noise. I don't use mine either, I prefer the bellows pumps, I have several 10LPM pumps and they seem quieter. I'm looking forward to seeing how this pans out. Especially interested in seeing if the LED side can keep up with (or possibly beat) the HPS side. My money is on the HPS winning but many blades on here would disagree
My first grow(in flush now) seemed like the best bud development was were the two overlapped. Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum

Not seeing big changes YET. Day 4 under screen Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum My thinking mans water chiller Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
Hey man, I'm facing that some issue with the water temp. How do you like that poor man's chiller? Does it even work? How long does it take for the ice to melt? How many bottles are you using? Everything looks awesome! Keep us update.
