Kitchen appliance that will extract cannabis oil

  1. We are currently in the process of manufacturing units of The Source here in Longmont, Colorado. It's a safe and easy to use "kitchen appliance" that will allow you to extract "essential oils" from any plant-based materials... Cannabis is our biggest market, most especially here in Colorado. If any of you are looking for an extraction tool or appliance, this is the product you are looking for. It's safe that it uses ethanol / grain alcohol and it can be controlled wirelessly via a mobile app.
Here's the website and we will be launching on Kickstarter real soon!

Interesting! What is the price point going to be?

    Edit: Nevermind. I didn't read well :)

  3. Hey MileHighMeems,

No worries, our price point is betwen $400 - $499... To be determined once we have all the costs figured out. But we are aiming for that price point! We want it to be affordable yet competitive as a Kitchen appliance.

  4. How long does it take? If you leave weed sitting in alcohol long enough it just happens.

    Hey Megacosm,

It's pretty much a small vacuum chamber... Those things can get expensive. And this one is dedicated for extracting oils, or people can get creative. The appliance allows you to control temperature, time of operation, amount of pressure in the chamber, and the number of cycles you want to run it based on the quality and potency of the oil that you want to achieve. We'll be recording a video soon of us "cooking" using The Source. I am being ansty about getting it to make "recipes". :yay:

Edit: it will be faster than a long soak? and you'd be able to control the quality of the oil since you can control the temperature as well...

  6. Can you post s pic of the finished product you are making with this? I am confused as to how this is effective at all besides making edible grade oil

  7. Same. What exactly is happening in this machine?

I'd rather just do qwiso soaks than spend +$400
