I used to pronounce Grand Prix wrong a lot when I was really young. Saying 'Grand Pricks', instead of how it should be pronounced, 'Grand Pree'. I swear no one corrected me till I was like 12 or something…they must've thought it was hilarious.

My wife will kill me for this but it's funny. It wasn't until 2 years into our relationship that I realized she pronounced headache as headegg. When I finally caught on she was embarrassed that no one had ever corrected her on it. She was 25 when she learned how to properly pronounce headache.
