  1. this is going to be the summer of 'George'...kicking back, relaxing and doing some gardening...

    Going to be trying Jack Herer, Chocolope, Candy Cane, and the Purps, all outdoors, might go Organic too but not sure yet...

    Anyways, going to be starting the seeds in a week or so, will keep  you posted...open to feedback, suggestions etc.

  2. This sounds good to me.  Why George though?  Why not Frank or Bruce

  4. "George discovers he has a severance package from the New York Yankees that should last him about three months, so he decides that he is going to take full advantage of three months off and become very active." - a throw back to Seinfeld and has similar parralells to my current circumstances, hence the reference to 'George', he was a great character.

    Started the seeds yesterday, will be transplanting directly into pots once they have sprouted.  Was kinda surprised, not sure why I should be but I noticed the size of the seeds for the Chocolope (DNA Genetics) are quite a bit smaller than what I recall other seeds being.  Just an observation.

    The Chocolope is a feminized seed so going to start with one for now, the other two are a crap shoot and my Candy Cane is auto-flower with a (7) wk cycle (according to the info that came with it) so I am giong to wait a bit as I want to do it outdoors and I am not certain how the photoperiod will fuck with the auto flower part?

    On that note, anyone with previous experience growing an autoflower outdoors, does it end up fallling into line with the natural photoperiod?

  5.
    No, the autoflower does what it is supposed to do...even outdoors.  If you plant early May, it will be ready in early July...start to finish is about 2 months.

  6. gtk, thx

  7. Ok so now all (5) have sprouted - really pleased and it took like no time at all...less than 72 hrs.  One big miss was the photo op of the sprouts - oh well.
    Put them into 4" Jiffy pots and will plant them from there directly into their final pot, a 10 gallon/40L tub outdoors.  I am going to train them to spreadwide but would like some feedback and I have questions;
    - How early can I start to manipulate the branches and begin training them outwards?
    - Would I pinch the lead shoot as well?
    - What's the biggest diff., between 'pinching' and 'training the branches'? Why do one over the other?
