I think he's a decent rapper, perhaps it's just the generational influence... My peers definitely got me into Wiz, just by playing it all the time when we chilled. And shit man this was back in the day, Prince of the City 2 was his most recent album. I remember that insane sesh we had to celebrate the release of kush and oj... Wiz Khalifa will remain as a cultural icon whether we like it or not, therefore there's no reason we shouldn't evaluate his tracks with some relativity. Nonetheless, he advocates for the responsible use of marijuana so we as blades should respect that he's bringing positive vibes about ganja towards the public
I'm a Wiz super fan. I've found a way to appreciate his music and really follow him as a person. He seems like a generally good, nice guy. His recent music, admitingly, is not the best but the music I'm in to by him is some of my favorites... An all around awesome dude and has some talent on the mic too
I think he's been a pretty mediocre rapper his entire career. To me he has a few great songs, a few good ones, mostly radio-hungry "blah" songs. I agree though, he seems like a chill dude and I respect him.
