A few weeks into my latest grow, thought I'd share. Vegging under 3x2foot flouros, flowering under 250w HPS First pic was taken 3 weeks ago, lady was taken 6 days ago. Strain is AK-47
Here it is today. Moving right along in my opinion. Going to take a clone and move it to the flowering room tomorrow. Got this from a friend last night, white widow. It's rooted, but gone through its nutrient reserves, so I mix up a fresh batch and put her in the veg booth.
Over this past weekend I moved the AK-47 into the larger tent with the 250w HPS. I took a clone and then set it to flower, hopefully we will know the sex in a few days. Here's the clone. I have it in a 3" Netpot that is resting in a 6" Netpot. The bottom inch is submerged in water wit an air stone directly under it. I've had success with this method quite a few times, so that's the way I do it. Questions, comment, advice or criticism are welcome.
Alright Blades, need some advice. After a few days under the HPS, I started seeing this on a couple leaves. My first thought is that I had the lamp too low and scorched the poor thing, so I raised it from 16" to 24". I'm concerned that it may be something else, but I'm not sure what. Thoughts? The rest of the plant looks great. So, what am I dealing with here?
Checked in on my big AK-47 in the HPS tent this morning and saw some pistils forming, yay! It's a girl! Now I'm really hoping that cutting takes root. The White Widow is doing pretty amazing itself, and last night I bumped it up to full strength nutes. Pics to come tonight.
As promised, pics of the White Widow. This is a clone I was gifted from a medical grower, so I trust the genetics to be true, and I've already seen pistils on her, so I know she's a female. I currently have her on GH Flora series nutes, full strength. 15ml Grow, 10ml Micro, 5ml bloom per gallon of h20.
The White Widow is coming along very nicely. Growth is great, and I'm thinking about topping her soon and trying to start a new generation of clones with it. My goal is to veg her out and keep her squat and bushy, and hopefully by mid April I'll be flowering her. The AK-47 cutting has yet to show signs of roots, but she still looks happy in her makeshift humidity dome, so I'm not super concerned yet. Pardon the shitty phone shots(HPS doesn't agree with my phone), but here is the AK mother in flower. She's about 10 days into 12/12, plenty of pistils have made their appearances. Tomorrow or Saturday, depending on my schedule, I'll be switching her over to flower nutes. I still can't tell what this spotting is, any thoughts?
Day 21 of 12/12, and she's growing like madballs. The Widow in veg is doing really well too. I keep topping her, hoping to get her really bushy.
Those 300 view are mainly mods or people trolling around for info. Your grow is looking good though man. Really tight internode spacing..
Your doing good man. How long did you veg the one in 12/12. For 21 days id think she would have been flowering by now.
She's staring to, my house is cold this time of year, out of firewood. I'm sure that's slowing her down a little.
Came home from a 10 day vacation to a couple lovely looking ladies! AK-47 White Widow My house sitter did a great job taking care of the girls while I was gone. I'm so happy.
Update time! The AK is doing great, and starting to put on some weight! Gave her a fresh mix of nutes this afternoon. The Whit Widow got moved into the flowering tent on 4/21, so she at 5 days in 12/12. She also got a fresh mute change today. She's already started putting out pistils, so I'm expecting her to really explode in the next week or two.
Looking good brotha. That ak looks amazing! And the widow is moving along nicely. Here in a few weeks the ak should have some rock hard buds.
