The inspirational side of the unknown.

  1. It's when I drink that I feel the pulse of the writer within. This force of unparalleled magnitude guiding my thoughts and articulating them in such a way. It's almost poetry. Not to sound all high and mighty, but one must have some sense of ego. Especially when trying to captivate such a massive audience. There must be some way of attracting this huge numbers. It can't all just be skill. Just think about it.

All the great, infamous writer of the 21 centuries; you can't expect that to be all of them. You can't expect that to be all the people that were capable of moving or inspiring the masses. I have to imagine that some were undiscovered. It's the only thing that gives me hope. Call it pessimism, but I'm not naive as to think that I, no matter my writing skill-whether they exist or not, could possibly be as big as I could hope, dream or want to be.

Anyway... Now that I have lost or gained most of your attention, I'd like to talk about something maybe obvious, maybe not..something existential. I'll just dive right on in:

The universe has the capability to inspire us measly human beings in incredible, almost unimaginable ways. For instances; Betelgeuse. It's a star in the constellation Orion. It's the big orange-red one in the upper left if your in the northern hemisphere. It's in a particular life phase called a Red Giant. A Super red Giant to be more specific. This star is special because when it dies - assuming it hasn't already - it will collapse then explode in what scientists and inspiring scientists call a supernova. Some of the brightest phenomena in the universe.

Betelgeuse is set to go off anytime between 599 years ago to a million years from now. When it does, for about a week it will be as bright as the full moon. Visible even in broad daylight. Which is insanely amazing considering the fact that it's 600 light years away, or hmmm... 3.6 quadrillion miles away or 3,600,000,000,000,000 miles.

Anyone alive in that week is going to see this in the sky. Most will wonder "what the fuck is that?". Half of them will actually follow up that question with a quick google search and actually learn something new. Half of them will be so astonished that they'll decide to learn a little more about it. Some of them will find everything involved in that subject completely fascinating and become inspired to make a hobby or possibly even a career out of it. Imagine, what if one of those people was the next Issac Newton or Einstein? So just a week of an awesome event could path the way of a better understanding of the universe itself. It's the universe working in sync with itself to grasp a better understanding of itself. Thoughts like that really make me sometimes crap my pants.

Hope you enjoyed. If not, I chalk it up to me being drunk. Not a lack of skill in writing. So fuck you, and goodnight.
