My box is 2x2x3.5 I want to grow three plants or less. But I know the height will be restricting. Is the SOG method a good idea to still get a good yield from this small space??

SOG should work as well, since you flower right away, but as far as I'm aware you need a decent amount of plants/m2 and a good horizontal space for it to make yield and economy (cost/amt. yielded) sense over other methods. Unless you have access to clones you're better off using scrog. I have the same size box with a 250w hps, one plant is more than enough to fill out that area. Here is what a one plant scrog looks like in a 2x2 when it's in full flower: http://i.imgur.com/ic6KjKA.jpg
