  1. Hey guys!

I just started my first grow about a week and a half ago. After planted my seed, she grew out of the coco coir overnight in about 5 days. After about 2 more days, she fell over so I dug her up and replanted her so that only about an inch was out of the coco and attributed the problem to too little light and moved my lights closer. She grew a little more but tilted over again. I dug her up again and replanted her. (I'm not sure if this was a big no no). Anyway, now the cotyledons are browning and the first set of leaves are curling inward. They are not as green as they were at first. I've listed important details below:

(1)I started her off in a two gallon pot, then transplanted her into a solo cup once a fellow grower told me that was best.

    (2) Before I planted the seed, I mixed my coco coir with perlite and added 1/4 of the recommended dosage of CalMag. (I PH'ed the water before mixing everything together with the coco)

    (3) I'm using three 150W Soft White 2800 Lumens CFL's which I keep about 4 inches from the plant (not sure if this is too close or maybe too far, but the heat doesn't burn my hand between the plant.)

    (4) I just put a fan in the room today because I was afraid she wasn't getting enough CO2.

    (5) I only added a small dosage of nutes (Canna Aqua Vega) after the first set of leaves came in. (This was about a day after they started to curl up on me.)

    (6) She is a bagseed, and on a 18/6 sched.

I've attached a pic, and hopefully someone can help me out. Let me know if you need more details or another pic. Thanks! :))

  2. that mix looks mostly perlite..  :hello:

bag seed these days isnt what it used to be. Advent of hybrids and autoflowering maybe. To be honest i would try a swag seed over one random seed from someones coffee table. At least you know it was properly polinated. Most say try and stay away from bag seed because the energy to mature can cost and have weird acting plants at the end.  Some wont flower. They will show sex but they wont nug up ya know.  The genes to make that seed may be off point or else u would have 10 seeds in ur shit rather than one, if it were pollinated properly.

my limited experience: I had prolly 15 bag seeds female and only one really produced flowers

So ye that seed needs a roof over its head. Others may think its a goner not me!

maybe take away 3/4 of the light. like get a 7 watt bulb and see if he/she will perk up

how much water are you applying? let the root zone dry a little before adding more.

also you don't need to give nutes until 2nd, 3rd set of leaves. what ppm did you feed it?
