I feel horrible, dealer died on his way to me

  1. So I just found out my dealer was late today because he was in an accident on his way to drop off to me. He died of his injuries in the hospital. I feel like it's my fault now, and it was all for $20 worth. I feel horrible and don't know what to do. please, give me advice, anything.

  2. That's terrible man, but people die in traffic accident's every day, on their way to work, the grocery store, the gym, and yes, sometimes on the way to buy/sell weed.

It's no more your fault then saying an employer should be at fault because one of their employees died while driving in to work Monday morning. Everybody killed in a motor vehicle accident was going somewhere.

    Still man, that's rough.

  3. If the pizza man dies on the way to your house is it your fault? Chill out and realize shit happens.

  4. I'm sorry to hear that. You weren't the cause of his death so try not to personalize it too much. Be there for his family and friends and respect his name now that he's passed. Not much you can do, but stay positive. Sometimes tragedy allows us to look deeper into our own lives. Try and remember all the good time.

  5. Just imagine, what could it have been like if cannabis was legal? Maybe some small event may have played out differently, and they could still be alive. Like the others here are saying, you are not the cause of your dealer's death. Considering how you are so torn over them dying, it seems that you obviously knew them more than just as your dealer. If you are looking to clear your conscience, then I suggest maybe going to the funeral?

For those wondering, I was just informed, he had hit black ice and rolled his car multiple times, he died from his rib going through a major blood vessel and he bleed to death on the way to the hospital

He was a longtime friend (knew him since gr. 5) and its just so sudden. I don't really do good at funerals :s

  7. man that's terrible. i'm sorry for your loss.

  8. Sorry dude. Not your fault.

Time to find a new dealer I guess.

  9. Now this is a thread you don't see every day.
That's terrible man. It's very unfortunate. But like the first reply said, everybody in a car accident was going somewhere. If he didn't wreck on his way to you, he could have wrecked on the way to the store. You didn't physically cause him to lose control of his vehicle, so you really shouldn't be hard on yourself.
But hey man, I'd be feeling the same way as you if i were in your shoes. Probably not an easy thing to deal with. :/ Really sorry to hear about this OP.

  10.
Had nothing to do with you :(

  11. Damn, that's rough.

Can't blame yourself OP. It's not your fault and beating yourself up isn't gonn help anything.

  12. this is the Internet. feelings get hurt. people are dicks. this to shall pass.

  13. rough man.

my guy is a good friend of mine for about 7 years, so i'd be hard if something like this happened to me.

just remember him how he'd want and the good times, its not your fault it was just his time. have a moment of silence for him and know that he doesnt want people sad and smoke in his memory.

  14. One time my dealer was on his way to my apartment and he got in a nasty car wreck right in front of the complex. He ended up ditching his stash in the bushes and leaving the car got him up to the apartment changed clothes and shit he left on foot. I went down to the bushes later and recovered what he had ditched.
