Road rage

  1. So I'm on the way back from the gym, about 5 minutes from my house with my daughter in the car. This asshole in a beat up ass Malibu comes out of nowhere and cuts me as im going 50 mph. I stomp on my brakes, i would've hit him but my daughters in the back. I was so freaking angry i sped up, got beside him and told him to fuck himself that my little girl was in my truck. Of course he just looked the other way and pretended nothing happened. So i got home, smoked a big ass fatty, and man did i feel a hell of a lot better. Just needed to rant

  2. :metal:  this one is for not letting him get the best of you
:metal:  :metal:  these 2 are for thinking of your daughter
:metal:  :metal:  :metal:  these three are for smoking a fatty instead of stomping some stupid fuck out and going to jail

  3. it is tough out there.   lottttta idiots

  4. Smart move, your lucky your behavior didn't get you and your daughter killed. Don't get me wrong I understand getting pissed but that was a dumb move with your kid in the car. It would suck to lose your kid just because you made a bad decision.

  5. Personally it doesn't bother me when people drive like idiots.  3 days ago I was driving to work, on a single lane 2 way street doing 55(kph) in a 50.  Some idiot was tailgating me and decided to go into oncoming traffic and pass me.  As he did that a car turned off a side street and the idiot caused a minor head on collision.  I just rolled down my window, gave a friendly wave and rolled into work.

I seem to deal with people like this every week, I'm not one to get angry at anything so it always gives me a chuckle, providing nobody gets injured.

  6. and yes it was a dumb move.

  7. Thank you everybody for the nice comments i really appreciate it, thank you. I have a very short fuse now so i avoid all the busy roads and take all the back ways. Plus the back roads aren't littered with cops, like we don't see they aren't always traveling in pairs and wearing body armor all over the place.

  8. Yea man, sorry if that came across as a little harsh.

I was the exact same way. One day I honked at some idiots that were driving next to each other talking. They flipped me off, I flipped them off, stuff got thrown. It ended by both of them teaming up to run me off the road. One stopped in front of me and the other behind me. They came out of their cars and me out of mine with pistol in hand. Luckily they chose not to continue once they saw a gun.

I'm not telling that story to sound like a gun toting bad ass. That event lead me to the realization that if they had continued or had weapons of their own someone would have likely died that day and no matter if it was me or them my life would likely be forever fucked. All could have been avoided with me just letting it go.

  9. It's fine man everyone is entitled to their opinion whether you offend somebody or not, who cares lol. I would've done the same thing though, someone tries to run me off the road and I'm bringing out my pistol.

Yep it is better to ignore them. You can NOT get "Emotional" while you are driving.
As well, you must watch out for yourself, and all the idiots on the road. When I see some nut speed in my rear view, I make sure he's not behind me, or slow down so that he has room to take the lane in front of me..... :smoking: Rather not get hit or cause road rage because some loser can't wait 1.3seconds longer.

  11. how I wish I could have your outlook. Nothing pisses me off more than someone tailgating me

  12. Lol I am so guilty of road rage. No one will get in a car with me. It's like "Bitch there's like a football field in front of you, you can't keep breaking for invisible ghost." I used to be a lot worse, now I only drive about 80-110 on the highway......

  13. I only almost got out of the car when some dumbass pulled in front of me on a single lane both way road as I got into the intersection. I'm going 53 and this guy turned right on red (not stopping at the light either) so I went into the oncoming lane to dodge him, then i stopped in front of him and put it in park, then just drove off instead of starting a fight over something that didn't even happen.

Also if you don't go the speed limit on a single lane road with a double line divider you suck.

I want to curse out probably five drivers every day, but it's just like what's the point? People are fucking crazy and you never know who's gonna pull out a knife or a gun when you call them an asshole.

  15. Just  because you're in the right doesn't make it a good idea to escalate. There are assholes on the road that'll snuff you with as much thought as they'd give to blowing out a candle. Grow up and learn to turn the other cheek.

Not a real good lesson for your daughter either.

  16. Not to derail, but you had all the rights in the world to lay them out.. they intentionally tried to seriously maim/kill you. I can tell you 100% I would've drawn also.

  17. Unfortunately having a legal right means nothing in an instance of road rage. Prosecution will take the stance that you could have deescalated the situation and there is no telling who a jury would side with in the matter. Prison time is still a very real possibility, as well as a felony record that would have followed me for life. Not to mention two dumbass kids would be in the ground. That is a lot of bad consequences for something that could have been avoided by just backing off and letting shit go.

  19. An idiot driver is not worth going to jail over or getting shot.
