Hello, fellow Grasscity users. If you were wondering whether or not to buy either of the portable wax burners mentioned in the title I hope this helps you make your decision. I have no affiliation with either company, I could care less which is better, I own both pens, but for those who have yet to get either this may be very valuable information and I should give back to this place, it has helped me for years as a lurker. I am going to make it somewhat concise though, here we go: STOK R series Pros: -Inconspicuous design -Super hard hitting -Awesome battery life -Excellently put together -Awesome warranty Wulf Mod Clone Pros: -Cheap (30$) -Nice hits -They use rubber O-rings instead of threads to open the concentrate chamber HUGE advantage -Use any E-cig battery with 510 threading (May be true for either, not sure) -Awesome dome which is bigger than the concentrate chamber on the Stok, it milks up and looks awesome while hitting it -All colors available, any battery Stok Cons: -Hard to clean with heavy use -Single Coil -Threads instead of O-rings -More expensive Wulf Mod Clone Cons: -Typically crap warranty -Less sturdy build, glass dome will shatter if dropped trust me -Doesn't hit as hard as the Stok -Heating element isn't as fast to heat up as the Stok Overall I know the stoke seems way better but those clones are so nice, the ability to take the dome off quick and stir the concentrate makes a HUGE difference during use. I suggest trying both and seeing which you like better, then going for an actual Wulf mod double coil if you decide you like the clone, those look SO SICK. The Stok is so inconspicuous though it is the ultimate stealth hitter for concentrate. Just remember not to load too much onto the coil at once on either rig or it will not hit right over time. If anyone has questions they can post em. Thanks for reading it all, Happy smoking
i used a spinner (v2 i think) battery with my stok before, worked about the same as the stock (stok) battery.
