8 week indica with amber hairs at 5 weeks?

    Just took a look at my ladies and some of the colas already showing about 15-20% amber hairs at 5 weeks??? Is this normal?

    I know you can harvest colas at different times but i didn't expect this much of a difference. Some have little to no amber hairs yet. Its been about 30 days total.

    What strain? 15-20% is ready for most but wait a bit for a more laid back stone.

    I had a grow where the hairs turned amber early also. The best way to tell is the tricomes, make sure they are cloudy.

    Hairs will amber early, but white ones may still appear. This doesn't mean your plant is ready. It's just maturing and part of the process. Let your buds fatten up more, you look like you have those 3 weeks left easy.

    don't confuse hairs with trichs. they look like golf ball on a tee exactly. u c amber trichs, shes ripe. amber starts the degradation process

    Golf ball on a tee is an amazing example of what a good trichome should look like.
