3 month tolerance break

Discussion in 'Apprentice Marijuana Consumption' started by purplenuhgs, Mar 3, 2015.

  1. So basically I'm gonna be taking a 3 month break from weed until mid-June.  I've been smoking for a little over a year now and I feel like I should take a break since I'm broke, I've been caught twice, and my tolerance is pretty high so a tolerance break would really help.

My question is: how hard is it to go 3 months without weed?  Please share any experiences you've had with tolerance breaks as well.

  2. About to do the same thing once I finish my stash, this will be like the 3rd major tolerance break of my marijuana career. At first they can be pretty hard, but eventually you get in the swing of things. Just tough if out and save some money, and then in 3 months burn down Babylon.

  3. There's no one answer to this question; it really depends on the individual's dependence. I know some people who have been smoking for years and wouldn't have a problem quitting if they wanted or had to. I also know people who have been smoking for shorter periods of time and would have a really hard time trying to go on a break.

So IMO the only way to find out how hard it will be for you is to try it. Most people don't have a problem, it seems, but some do.

    Good luck.

  4. Tolerance breaks are a good idea I believe. They give you time to clear your head and think in a sober state of mind. I noticed I was much better at school work, conversing, and talking to girls during my T-break, most likely because my head was clear. I was also a lot more aggressive and douchier though lol, I got into a fist fight and a few verbal altercations, which isn't really in "high me"'s nature.

The first week was tricky, I was so used to being high that it was hard getting used to not having weed. But after a week or so I started enjoying my time being sober.

Do what I did in that situation....get a litre of cheap whiskey and make it last a few days haha being sober all the time is boring you need some sort of drug to relax  with and look forward to

  6. I smoked bout 20 times in a row and took a month and a half T-break and got high as never before.
