Well, I needed to move my grow journal from the indoor thread to here so I did! This is an update from the first (new pictures to come soon). My ladies have started flowering (11 days in!!!) My veging ladies have hit 6in (White Widow and White Thunder) and 8in tall (Afghan Skunk). And are officially 1 month old. I will be vegging them for 2-4 more weeks. I have just topped the skunks (one time only) and am letting the whites go au natural.
A new grow shop opened up in town, I couldn't resist poking my head in. Turns out they had everything anyone could want. I picked up some soft plant ties and got started on wrangling down the white thunder. I have wanted to test out lst and had a plant which grew at about a 30 degree angle, so I tied her down the opposite way. I was able to do this and luckily didn't cover any new top growth I had. That leaves only the white widow growing normally.. Well kind of, I have been pulling tops through the fan leaves and letting new growth get maximum light, which is causing some amazing bushing and around 10 tops pushing upward now! One of the two afghan skunks topped perfectly and now both nodes are 1/2in high, the other skunk.. well.. F.I.M.. and is growing a top where the cut was, but is also developing the other two tops so I am going to let her be!
Pretty sure the vegging ladies are experiencing some nitrogen deficiency.. I haven't been adding nutes for the past three weeks for fear of burning, but their low npk nutes and I shouldn't have stopped them! So I started them on the nutes again @ 50%. Fingers crossed that the ladies are okay! Also, I cut the fim off, I figured I wanted both the skunks producing similar. Flowering ladies are doing great, I'll have pics up tomorrow night!
Well, I lied. Pics are up a couple days late . Downsides, my white widow is showing signs of nute burn from the recent watering . Otherwise all the girls are showing signs of recovery from their initial lack of nutes. OG and SG are doing great! And I have moved all the ladies into the flowering tent! Pics are L to R: White thunder, White widow, Afghan Skunks, Snow Goddess tops, OG Kush tops.
Quick update. Well... Not too stoked to say that I had a major nitrogen deficiency from not feeding the larger ladies earlier on, I saved it somewhat and their green is showing a bit more, but still I fear stunted. Either way, that's not happening this time around! Started the 4 younger ladies on a flowering nute as soon as they showed buds 2 days ago!
