Working/interviewing at a dispensary

Discussion in 'Marijuana Business and Industry' started by HIGHliketheSKY, Mar 3, 2015.

  1. I really want this job! I am set to interview with the biggest dispensary in my county on thurs! I have been a patient for awhile and know alot about consuming cannabis and have an extensive customer service history. What kind of questions will I be asked? Also any feedback from dispensary workers welcome:)

  2. Harbor side is a joke.

  3. Know the LAW about sales and common questions customers would have.

  5. Harborside is the largest dispensary in the country.
Don't know what living in San jose had anything to do with it.

Here is a great post written by a human resources professional that gives a-lot of advise on how to get noticed and hired in the industry https://marijuana-jobs.us/blog_posts/7-steps-to-getting-a-marijuana-job-1l

  12. This guy... You know the workers don't matter, it's all how the customer perceives you. Customer service is #1 because if I don't go back to a collective you can guarantee its because of that asshole that fucked up serving me my buds. Trust me when I say you cannot make a second first impression. The moment somebody sees you, even if you just hold the door open for them can make the biggest difference in how they feel and adjust to you.

    Congrats!!

I hope you thrive in your new endeavor.

Also, I hope it isn't in Washington State where the dispensary owners, along with a big part of the MMJ community, sat on their asses while our legislators  gutted Washington MMJ.

If it was in WA you may want to keep your resume updated.

    Best of luck!
