I usually cure my harvest and it always works great. This season, my grow buddy and I were both too busy and had to leave it hang since the middle of October. That shit is dry as all holy hell. I took a bag at harvest as i knew it would be a while before we got to the rest. Cured that stuff at home as i normally would. Tastes and looks phenomenal. Anyway, a buddy told me to re hydrate the buds and cure normally. I don't have experience with this so I'm wondering A) is it possible to re hydrate crispy buds and B )How to go about re hydrating the bud. Anyone with knowledge or a link? I've seen an article how to put moisture back into buds that are a little too dry but I think I may be well beyond that point. I'd like to get the stuff still hanging cured and smelling and tasting as good as the O I cured earlier.
Boveda 62% packs work well for bud that is a little moist or dry. Put the bud in jars or cvaults with the boveda packs and open every once in a while to check your buds. Also, check the packs as they need to be replaced once they get hard. Good Luck
High as fk. Anyways, I've always heard of people wrapping orange slices in a paper towel (or several I'd assume to make sure the juice doesn't touch the bud) and putting it into a jar with all the bud. I've never tried it, but hey - might be something worth trying for science. I'd assume this would affect the taste as well.
I've seen those. I think this is a good option. Thanks man. I have heard about this while I was looking around. Maybe i'll throw some in the bottom of a jar and see how she does.
I put a fan leaf in my nug jar that had crispified. Seem to make the bud texture back to right but Idk if the smoke got any smoother.
The only time I ever used an orange peel to try to bring some moisture back to some duper dry bud it grew mold fairly quickly. Sent from my SPH-L720T using Grasscity Forum mobile app
