replanting cut down plants

  1. So, I have about a 1/2 dozen fully grown and healthy indic a plants that were just harvested. With spring around the corner, I was wondering if it would be possible to keep these trees alive by keeping the roots hydrated and keeping a low power light on them long enough to replant these indoor grown indicas outdoors when the snow melts away. Is this worth trying or are these plants gonna die now that they have no more vegetation on them. IMG_0092.JPG

  2. You would have needed to leave about a 1/4 of the plant for it to reveg and put them under bright 24-0 lighting to stand a chance..

  3. Plant is gone. It's not worth it anyway. What you are thinking is possible if done correctly but the time it takes the plant to revert back to veg take longer than starting over with a clone. I recommend taking clones from your plants just prior to putting them into flower. That way by the time it is to harvest you should have a plant ready to be cloned and put into flower. Always take more clones than you need. You can always get rid of too many plants, it sucks to to take a few clones to have them not root or die. Taking a few extra ensures you keep the genetics.
