I have a grow tent in the corner of my room and the only place I can get the exhaust pipe out is out of the top window, trouble is it isn't air tight and the room gets cold because this is February in England lol so before I had some cardboard up but it made it obvious and I got paranoid because the lady across was looking up so I took it out and replaced it with perspex so now it's almost see through. Is it safe? Also I have no carbon filters but luckily I'm on top floor.

  2. If someone can see it, then it's not 100% safe. That's really your call.

If you're on the top floor, what about shoving that exhaust pipe through the ceiling in your closet? Or even better, right into the attic access (if you have one)?

  4. plus you live in the UK. Isn't the penalty for a few plants like, they take it and you are on your way?

  5. It sounds like i have a similiar situation to you, have to vent out the window on a second story apt. I covered the windows with foam board but left the blinds on so nothing is visible from the street. On the other window i cut a hole in the foam board for fresh air and covered it with a pillow case to keep light out. Hope this helps:)
