Just grabbed this (no name). Here's two nugs from it that weighed in at 8.0g. How's it look? Smells dank through the bag, and it's a little dry but nothing a little tlc won't fix ImageUploadedByGrasscity Forum1425253003.066763.jpg ImageUploadedByGrasscity Forum1425253021.754054.jpg

  4. Looks good! But it does look like you got a few g's of stem :/

  5. I've read on here that a small piece of orange or lemon peel can add some moisture. But take out the amount you plan on smoking for the next few days (so maybe a couple grams) and put the Orange peel with those grams, not your whole stash, or you run the risk of it all getting moldy!

  7. Those look like some very tasty buds. Love the colors

  8.
I prefer to moisten half a Q-tip and tape it to the top of the mason jar. Usually will be much better after an overnight of sitting. :smoke:

  9. Ahaha looks like I'm not the only one with this paranoid thought.

  10.
Not just a paranoid thought when you can see the stem that goes through all the nugs haha

  11. my friend, if you already knew the stem was going to be a factor, then I suggest you remove it from the stem completely and jar the nugs/shake. weigh it without and then do the math. if it's not that much loss, then I'd say you can't complain much.. but be cautious, some people are shady and will pull the flowers before they are even flushed properly.. which is bad for you my friend. very bad. as far as TLC, if it's already super dry then there isn't much you can do about it.if it's still got some moisture going, maybe decarb the bud a little bit in the oven.. but hey, if you do clean it up and it smokes fine, cheers mate.

  12. Looks good. Cheers from VA.

  13. The bud must be very wet if the stem weighs that much.

Wouldn't the stems have to be wet for the stems to weigh that much? goin with your logic of course

Wow I had to waste my 420th post on this fool

  15. You show me dry bud on a wet stem.

  16.
I was still talking about stems, so you bringing in wet bed doesn't matter to me. Sorry. Talking about STEM weight. And also you brought up them being wet, I never did. So bye-bye

  17. You said two stems weighed grams as in multiple, and the only way that could be was if the stems were wet. Maybe if the buds were 10gs+ each but 4 gram nugs don't produce stems no where close to a full gram.

And I was just saying that he would have to buy wet weed for the stems to be wet. I really don't get how you can't understand that you called me a fool even though my reply was liked not urs.

Let me tell you this one more time though so you understand.

    WET STEM = WET BUD
WET STEM = HIGHER STEM WEIGHT
WET BUD = HIGHER BUD WEIGHT.

  18. I think Cornjob needs to review guideline #1.

This thread is done stems have little to no weight.

    Unless damp and then...
