LED Distance from plants?

  1. Just recently moved from a 600w HPS to 600W MARSHYDRO set up, so unsure of optimal distance to have the light above plants. They are 20 days old entering veg sofar.

  2. In Veg they say 18 to 36''.

I like to make them stretch a bit in veg and since LED make them a little less tall you can put you light higher.

In Flower, I find 12'' to 18'' from canopy is best.

  3. How high can you run a mars 11 1200 from plants in veg and not be to far away?

  4.
we always recommend you hang it at 24-20 inches for germination, 18-24 inches for veg and 12-18 inches for flower.

  5. 10-16inches will be fine, but it all depends on heat levels at th eplants canopy.
Also you do realise 6000watts of mars led lighting wont match a 600hps unless you have around 1200watts of mars lighting which will run at around 500-600 actual watts.

  6. how you know this, you test?

  7. Been growing for several years and have many friends that grow with these panels.
Why did you have a question?

  9. lol.

  10. Yeah okay if you have a mars hydro 600w about 28-29 inches away is good for my seedlings but 24 burned them and my 30 day old so. I would say 28 for seedling and veg and like 24 for flower. Bullshit
