Because It needs to be nice and hot for big slabs or it just puddles up too much, also for the heat to stay consistant w/o an enail with a thermocoupler in the coil the nail would just get cold. thats the whole point of an enail though, puddles arent an issue cause you have constant heat. I've done .4s and shit with low temps and took the dab in like 15 pulls, thats harder to pull off than a hot dab in one breath. not to mention you cant even enjoy the flavor lol hot quartz better than low temp Ti? the fuck dude? hot anything tastes like ass, hot ceramic is worse than quartz though
The joke was that TI tastes like shit reguardless. Also I didnt want puddles because a .5 would just drip down the dropdown and waste half my toke, I wanted to take it in one hit, that was the point of this vid, not to milk it in 15 pulls, not to get amazing taste, just to down it in one hit. I didnt enjoy the flavor but I did enjoy the high and then I really enjoyed the flavor of munchies a couple mins later. And no 15 hits isnt harder to pull off than one big one, I mostly low temp dab and trust me dabbing grams and half grams in one toke isnt a walk in the park.
Yes if you're aiming for a 1 toke and hitting it hard enough a bucket twice this size would start dripping oil into the drop down.
To each his own. Like I said before this wasnt meant to be a pleasurable tasty hit, it was done for entertainment and getting super baked. I have many sick vids of low temp dabs that are terpalicious.
