If youre smoking indoors with windows open can people smell it from outside?

    So lets say my room is 10 meters height and I smoke with my windows open the people outside under my window even though I'm 10 foot (10 meters) higher than them can they still smell it?

    Most likely no because I smoke on my balcony to my room which is about the same distance to my parents room on the ground and haven't been caught when they come to the backyard to let the dog out. My stepmom smokes so I don't know if she doesn't say anything just to keep it on the low, but your best bet is to blow the smoke out of the window towards the sky along the building as it travels farther faster.

    But how come ever since I discovered what weed smelt like since teenage and childhood (even now) certain spots or areas I walk outside smell of weed even though the people that smoked it are long gone and that certain "spot" can leave the smell of weed behind for hours because one time I had to walk and do some shopping at this corner of this building I could smell weed, when I got back I could still smell it which had been nearly 1 hour outside.

    ive always wondered this especially since smoke rises, but the maybe not the aroma....you can be miles away and sell smoke but never see a fire so i suppose if theres enough cannais smoke, yea possibly. if youre roasting a blunt/joint and tokin away as opposed to taking a bowl hit every 5-15 mins are two different things though...

    Most likely they won't, its true that weed smells like a motherf*cker, but smoke travels up, and when it smells of weed it's mostly because of the smoke. If i were you i wouldn't worry about it, but if you are really paranoid ask a friend to stand where you don't want it to smell and smoke, to see if he can smell anything.

    I assume so. I can smell my neighbour smoking in his room from outside when I go to the car. Mind you, my nose is tuned to smell it out I think.

    I guess it depends where the wind is blowing and if you got that dank ... My neighbor smokes bud in his garage and i can smell it sometimes .

    Temperature also has a role in it because of it is colder outside smells travel away slower whereas if it's warmer smells travel away faster.

    Maybe I'm worried about my safety and want to make sure and not get caught? I've never smoked at my own house so I wouldn't know nor have I been worried about the smell when I smoked it previously and paid no attention but now that I've started growing I'm more aware. What a retarded thing to say you have.
