Tips on taking a T-break?

  1. Long time listener now becoming a user, first let me talk a little bit about the situation.

    I am currently 19 years old, I started smoking about 4 years ago and only used for a couple of months. I smoked only on weekends and only with friends. I quit entirely until about November of 2014. I started off smoking about 1 blunt of mids a night. Not even every night. Then it slowly went to every single night. Then i went on a 10 day vacation on a cruise, I smoked the first night and then went clean for 9 days with relative ease. I didnt think about it at all, of course i was on a cruise with my significant other. Then after I returned there may have been 1 or 2 days at the most I have not smoked. The amount increased from 1 blunt of mid between 2 people to a quarter every 2 days between us. Then I started buy dank instead and generally if he comes over we smoke about 1.5 between both of us which is only at nights. Usually if he does not come I smoke about .5 to myself a night between a waterbong and a bowl. Here recently there have been days I am tempted to smoke during the day and days that i do i smoke almost 1 gram a day myself or more. I find it hard to even quit smoking for one day but I need a tolerance break. I miss the feeling of when I first started or even first started again. I am 6'0 150 pounds, how long of a tolerance break will i need for it to be effective and how can I go about taking a break? I have no other hobbies besides video games ( which are not as fun while not high ), and basketball ( which during winter is more expensive than smoking, paying 10-20 dollars for 2 hours of playing every time i want to rent the gym. 
     
  2. A few days would do, but a week or 2 would be better. It's really not that hard, just stop, you'll find a way to occupy your time.
     
  3. I agree and I believe I could stop again but my whole family smokes and its always around and available
     
  4. My stash never runs dry. I always have bud around and a way to smoke it, but I almost always only smoke at night, with the exception being the rare day off that I have nothing important to do.. Just because it's available doesn't mean you need to smoke it. If you really miss the high you used to get, you'll last a week no problem.
     
  5. I believe I could last too except sleeping will be extremely hard and every time my mother asks for a ride she tries to smoke with me, turning down free is bud is always hard.
     
  6. Yeah sleeping is the worst thing about a t-break. And dude, I'm sure your mom won't peer pressure you into smoking with her... Lol wtf. Just say you're taking a tolerance break. I just watched movies until early am when I took my last break..

  7. Well I had to take her out to stores, I got in an argument with my S.O. And she rolled a joint, so i smoked and then someone at her house rolled a cross blunt ( never seen one in real life ) and i smoked it. But I am now planning it out and going to try again on Monday morning 
     
  8. Your not alone i smoke to much myself. I mean alot. I smoke at least 4 times at home and 3 more times during my job..today im puting a stop to it, im not gonn smoke till im off i only riped two bowls from the bong this morning.tips i meep myself busy and tell myself "i dont need to smoke and i dont want to smoke"
     
  9. If video games are your only hobby then you need to go out and find another hobby. Most of you that ask how to take a t break don't have any hobbys other then smoking... I don't know how some people just sit on their ass and smoke and play video games all day, I'd feel so depressed. If I was you I'd just wait to take a t break when the weather is better then you'll be able to be outside and keep yourself busy

  10. Well it's not my only hobby. But other ones I have ( basketball, football, track, swimming ) are not always available because of time of year and weather.
     
  11. smoke all the weed u have left so u have nothing to think about drink alot of water and exercise also try to pick up a new hobby
