So I've been smoking since I was a lot younger and ever since then I've tried tons of different varieties of cannabis. I've tried most popular methods of smoking and smoking paraphernalia: bowls, joints, blunts, bongs, vaporizers, pens, etc; But I had never tried dabbing, and my dealer had never even heard of it until my cousin and I introduced him to it a few months ago and had suggested that he stock up.
Anyhow, I had started off only being able to take two dabs during my first experience, gradually growing a tolerance and an interest in getting higher, and getting up to half a gram to a gram every few days. Although my initial involvement in dabs allowed the other bros to ravage the rest by themselves, I quickly began to partake in the ritual to the very last scrape of parchment paper. Eventually, my friends and I all became wrapped up in our own lives and commitments, leaving each to their own. Since then, I've continued to smoke BHO, buying a half a gram for and by myself. It would usually come in this sticky mess in a silicone cylindrical container, although now it's usually in a solid, mushy form nowadays. Sometime later I began smoking about a half a G a day, usually leaving a few dabs for the morning after. I would let the wax sit in the bottom half of the cylindrical ball on top of my radiator with a small lid covering some of the opening to let it purge for a few hours until it was light brown and had this crumby consistency. This lasted for a week or two.
As of today, I eye out my dabs carefully as to ensure I only smoke half of my half, making sure to pick at my wax reasonably throughout the day so that I can remain in a constant state of euphoria. However, I have been noticing some side effects. I'm usually in my house alone in the evening when I'm getting dabbed out and I find myself running in between rooms, turning lights on and off, and slamming doors in fear of some kind of evil foreign presence. My apartment's bathroom, kitchen, living room, and two bedrooms are conjoined by a long narrow straight hallway, so it leaves a lot of room for imagination.
The only thing keeping me from complete withdrawal from the rest of my apartment is my cat, Charry, who follows me everywhere I go, and I heard from many sources can see evil spirits and fend them off - not to mention the fact that cats are generally keen in their senses of sight and hearing and will alert me that their is an unsettling occurrence well before we are both in danger. They also have claws, and claws are pretty lethal. I'm not completely alone because my mother and I live together and my girlfriend visits me 2-3 days a week but they both agree I can sometimes be emotional and overanalyze things often. I've been on medications before for particular crises I've overcome; freeing myself from their groggy grasp with a few sessions of group therapy and techniques to keep anxiety at bay.
I honestly feel fine, and I get good grades and all, so I don't see much of a problem. I know the particular asphyxiating effects of butane, and I smoke cigarettes anyways, so that argument is invalid. As for my physical health, I'm a vegan in training and I juice every morning with a few cheat meals every now and again, and I also exercise often. My mental health is my true concern, and I would like to hear input on how much others are dabbing, and the tolls they feel it may be taking on their daily lives.

A study in the absurd. Cigarette smoking vegan dabs the max to what end? Because it's there of course. Don't forget the evil felines! That cat is pretending. Better keep an eye (maybe your third) on el gato.

  3. Personally, it sounds like you should be dabbing about twice as much. Sometimes to get past something you have to go through it. It sounds like you're stuck in the middle and if dropping off use isn't helping, then the only other choice to get through it is to increase use. I think you'll come around.

Also, increase the amount of cats you have. I'd suggest 4. They can cover the east, west, north and south for you.

  4. Well I smoke 2-3grams a day and have done for 10 years now and I'm fine :)

    Chef.

Lol my third eye is what's driving me crazy. Too much decalcification.

EDIT: The end is 'there'? You mean my habits are enough to contaminate myself into my own termination?
Yeah... Reminds me of the movie Horns with Daniel Radcliffe, where Daniel- or Iggy, forces his brother Terry to take all of his stash to get him through his rut trying to stay sober. His tolerance had swelled after the recent death of a friend. Terry ends up overdosing and becomes enlightened after a vivid, horrific trip.

You don't find yourself cracking a piece of your lung off every now and then? - Or flicking your eyes to your peripheries every once in a while in an attempt to console that creeping feeling you get when you've got your back turned on the world for a dab?

  6. If cats had thumbs, mankind would be on the endangered species list!

  7. looks like someone watches to many Hollywood movies and thats why you fear "evil spirits".
chill out, take a dab... sell me your soul.

  8. Hahah...weirdo.

  9. not trying to be mean but you sound mentally ill. just the post itself (the stuff about cat, wandering from room to room obsessively, dabbing a half gram a day, etc) and diction selected remind me a lot of friends I've had that  turned out to have some pretty intense personality or mood disorders

I could be wrong though, I hope I am. but maybe lay off the drugs for awhile.

That's fine. I don't take any offense at all as I aspected these types of speculations. If you look closer at my original post you'll find that at some point I do distinguish that I am not mentally sound-  cleverly avoiding the enslaving clinch of medication mandated by psychiatrists:

However, I have launched my rocket too high before. If I notice that incoherent babbling or belief to have supernatural abilities accompany my symptoms of paranoia I will attend to settling my tolerance and uneasiness.

  11. This whole thread makes no sense to me.

  12. damn nigga, you need to grow up

if these evil spirits only manifest themselves when your baked....its the wax, not some poltergeist, maybe try just reefer

do u experience this shit when sober and since you reside with your mother, does she experience these feelings?

sorry for being harsh but I cant understand how THC can cause a reaction like this, although I will give u the benefit of the doubt seeing as I have never dabbed wax

  13. Op see a psychiatrist... Idk but turnings the lights on/off.. idk man..

Everything just screams "OCD and schizophrenia" to me..
Dont blame me if you have a debilitating mental condition later in life: I gave you the advice to see a specialist

You really shouldn't recommend an OP grows up from getting paranoid after smoking wax when you yourself have never tried it and are unaware on the effects that toll on your own mind and body. It's really hypocritical and ignant.

Anyhow, Dopamine is a natural neurotransmitter found throughout the entire body and its responsible for movement and happiness. For example, someone lacking in dopamine will show signs of depression, whereas someone abundant in dopamine experience symptoms of schizophrenia. I would like to know if anyone could give any EDUCATED insight on the effects of BHO on the mind and body and dopamine differences or misrepresentations I may have claimed.

Edit: Also, someone experiencing an abundance of dopamine will have much more energy in their movements, including strength and speed. -BV

  15.
correct I have never tried oil but if something isn't there when sober but when you take a dab and its present, it's most likely the drug over some chemical imbalance, just like when I hear somebody walking on the stairwell when sober its no biggie, but if im baked and I hear someone on the stairwell, my paranoia could possibly take over and think its the cops...guess he just needs to get used to smoking in his house because 99% percent it isn't haunted, and if wax is the sole proprietor of the feelings of ghosts than perhaps OP needs to take smaller dabs or go to buddz

  16. This niggas crazy

  17. You're vague.

  18. That sounds scary, not sure what the issue is. OCD and schizophrenia seem to hit the nail on the head, but I am not sure hash would have that effect, it seems like it could in my mind.  I am in no way a doctor or have a right to 'diagnose' you.  I don't believe in therapists or psychologists but I do believe you need to talk to someone.  Here is certainly a start.
