  1. Ever put your nose in your bong after you take a hit or 2? Smells bad yes?!

Tired of changing your water all the time and having the inside of your bong get all brown and dirty and hard to clean?

Then you need to buy a carbon adaptor and a bag of activated carbon for your bong!

It will keep your lovely piece all nice and clean, the after smell less noticeable and the tokes you take will really be improved - the taste is very nice and clean. You really taste the weed.

All you do is  place the adaptor between your bowl and your bong/chillum like so:

    I just purchased this:

And its very special as you do not need a little screen in the bottom to stop the carbon falling out and into the bong water.
This is something that most of the other models do not provide and putting in a screen is fiddly and moves around during the time its in the adaptor.

Here's some real pics of it.

You can see from the last 2 pictures that there are 4 surrounding holes in the dome that allow your smoke to pass through ( something that isn't too clear from the stock photo )

Buy this, or one like it and you will be thanking your lucky stars you did. Such a great investment and the carbon is cheap too.( just make sure to wash and dry it before you use it in the adaptor! )

Thanks for reading, enjoy your quality tasting rips and super clean bong via this wonderful invention!

  2. I respect yours but IMO activated carbon attachments aren't all they are cracked up to be, the dirty bong thing can be fixed by a simple ashcatcher/pre-cooler, and the maintnence that come along with one of this is more than I would like. But in the end its to each there own.
    Toke on!

  3. Ah yes, but then how would one keep the ashcatcher / precooler clean? Carbon! Everything past the carbon filter stays super clean.

(Respect your opinion too btw  :smoke: )

  4. Just more shit you dont need. fucking grinders and funky bullshit, going to need a backpack to pack around all the bullshit just to smoke a bowl.

  5. thats the wonderful thing about ash catchers. they are small and easy to clean, its much easier to soak an a/c in simply green or give it an iso/salt bath then to go purchase a carbon filter + carbon

  6.
Fair play, but honey combs are a pain in the ass to clean, and filtering smoke through carbon is surely a healthier benefit?

I know I don't want a lung based problem to stop me from smoking when I'm older

  7. honeycombs are hard to clean? my honeycomb ash catcher is easier to clean then the shower head. and if healthy bong rips are the goal, look into vapor-bonging my mans, you shall enjoy it.

  8. Nah man, can't be dealing with vapes, there pretty nice and give a sparky high, but I can't very well vape when I'm out camping can I?

    Glass all the way!  :bongin:

  9. There is a 4 pager on here about the roor carbon filter and is in more depth, in a different way.

One day i will add this to my vergin bong I've been building. I just want it to stay mint for when I do start using it.

  10. Ok, so i know this is a fairly old post but I found this by being a good lil member and SEARCHING the forum before blindly posting threads left and right...which means you guys can ease up on me for the question im about to ask, which is.......how exatcly does this bong work? Where is the filter or where does the carbon go?

I literally JUST found out there were such things as carbon filters for bongs so this whole idea is like rocking my brain right now! I understand the basic adapter to which you put the carbon inside of like the one the OP posted, but how/what makes the bong on the link I posted different?

  11. In the down stem.... since the downstem is crimped in the middle

And Always wash and dry the carbon
