Can you plant in existing soil without issues?

    Hi All,

I'm hoping to transplant a few clones outside onto a local golf course in the bushes far off to the side. My plan was to wear a backpack with 10-20 clones inside it in jiffy pellets and transplant them using just a hand trowel right into the dirt. I will then provide a bit of water and be on my way.

I would like to avoid carrying in huge bags of promix or sunshine mix like all of the growers on youtube, as it is a golf course and I do not want to raise suspicion. There are trails in the area that people hike on so a backpack would not be out of the ordinary.

Will my plants growth be stunted growing in slightly harder soil?

Does it not have enough natural nutrients to grow these to a decent size (a few ft?)

  2. With trails and a golf corse it's almost certain someone will find them. Especialy with the smell during flowering. Find another spot and yes you can plant straight into the ground if it's decent soil. The existing nutrients can get you through one or two small crops, or you can feed later when they are in the ground and ready for food.

  3. Really only you can decide, but after your first grow you will know...! but keep in mind once the course is closed then the workers get in and work their magic, like cutting grass down, and fertilizing the greens, for that look for a down hill slope at the bottom where the nutes will build up, above all stay of the course
