Hoophouse lowered soil bed good or bad idea

  1. So this will be my second season planting outdoors. Last year was amazing! and I only had recycled soil.
This year I built a 10-8 hoophouse to prolong my season n keep my plants dry from rain and added a bunch of good soil.
This is where my concern is, last year I had dug separate holes for my ladies, and this year I have dug out 2 rows of dirt in the hoophouse so that I can walk down the middle of it. The lowered beds of soil are like 2x6-2x7ft. I'm now debating wether or not the lowered beds are a good idea or not. I don't want there roots to have to fight for space as well as water. Will this method work? The lowered soil beds? Or should I rethink my setup before April comes around.

  2. with green house/glasshouse/ or hoophouse grows I follow the advice of tomato growers and relocate each season, so any bugs or disease in the soil can rest or die before I get back to that spot next season...or easier to grow in 3- 99 us gallon containers too

but tomatoes are a lot softer than many canna plants, also you may wanna amend the soil before planting with many organic stuffs the plant love, later in mid summer you may remove the plastic and use the hoops for plant support?

plants will fight for space but it the best way ...as plants do sub terra coms with many roots and fungi!
