So this will be my second season planting outdoors. Last year was amazing! and I only had recycled soil. This year I built a 10-8 hoophouse to prolong my season n keep my plants dry from rain and added a bunch of good soil. This is where my concern is, last year I had dug separate holes for my ladies, and this year I have dug out 2 rows of dirt in the hoophouse so that I can walk down the middle of it. The lowered beds of soil are like 2x6-2x7ft. I'm now debating wether or not the lowered beds are a good idea or not. I don't want there roots to have to fight for space as well as water. Will this method work? The lowered soil beds? Or should I rethink my setup before April comes around.
