It's very comforting for people to believe their loved ones who have passed can still see them in their proudest moments, and help them at their worst. I've got no problem with people believing it. Personally I don't, but that doesn't take away from honouring their memory by trying to do as well as you can to achieve their goals. If they can see ya, make them proud.
