Massively delayed high...?

Discussion in 'Apprentice Marijuana Consumption' started by Drewkarabelas, Feb 27, 2015.

  1. Hey guys just confused as to how this happened:

I had a reclaim pill (reclaim taken from smoking wax out of a rig) with about a .2-.3g of reclaim in there and took it at about 830pm on the train into the city to see Chance. Small venue and couldn't smoke so that was my best option.

Anyway, I took it on a fairly empty stomach and long story short I only began to feel high much later at about 1:30am after I ate some food. Is it possible that by eating I started the digestion process and the pill only just then got broken down?

Also worth mentioning, I really noticed the effects after this group of cute girls came over to comment on my handlebar stache/beard...
I have slight social anxiety, and I was alone, and high, both of which contribute to that. So idk if an initial "panic" response inside intensified the high or not, but after I calmed down I just had a very odd high/headspace similar to being on acid but much more grounded. This lasted into the next morning.

tl;dr: Edible took 5 hours to kick in...wtf?

Just thought it was interesting and I'd see if anyone ever noticed anything similar

i don't think it's gonna sit in your stomach waiting to be activated for 3 hours like a fuckin alien egg bro. stomach acids are always there.. coincidence is my guess.
