clone help

  1. I took these cuttings 7 days ago I used technaflora root tech cut at a 45 degree angle made sure they were dipped in water immediately after being cut I have cloned before one time successfully just curious guys have had these in a humidity dome under a t5 fluorescent in rapid Rooter plugs the bottom part of the stem is very hard has white etching on the stem I'm assuming that's where the roots are going to start temperatures have been kept at about 73 degrees and under a humidity dome here's a picture any help would be wonderful thanks in advance

    Looks good! ...I hope you mean you cut the stem under water ....lol  to prevent an air lock(bubble) in the stem like an embolism? 
     
     
    Roots start to show as little nubs or warts, then get bigger out to roots in 1-2 weeks, keep them damp not to dry or wet
     
  3. how do I do it in stright dirt
     
  4. They get hard/thick and white that way bcs of your rooting gel, that's normal.
