I'm not sure if this is the proper forum to post this in. So I will begin by apologizing and if it is indeed the wrong forum. Hopefully you could direct me to the proper forum. I payed 70 bucks at some random store. At first I thought for sure it was fake but when I did some online research it didn't have any of the trademark fake signatures. I.e the ROOR sign is above the perc and ice catcher. The trademark is in the right place and Rs are facing the right direction. The ice pinch has only 3 pinches. The signature isn't the dots following the joint but is different and unique. Plus the glass is sturdy as fuck I dropped it from 3 feet and it didn't break although I had to change my shorts. @Daffy_Dank all you have shown me is that you understand the price of an a real ROOR. Others have posted saying this is fake but offered real reasons as to why it was fake. Next time try adding some reasoning to your post other than a price tag. P.S. You obviously did not read my post, because everything on the water piece checks out other than the price tag. I love the hypocrisy, you say I should do research but yet you have not even read the entirety of the post before making your decision. I believe this is real or a very good fake as not a single person on this forum or any other have been able to provide a legitimate reason as to why it is fake other than the price tag. Look at that perc lmao. German roors don't have percs. Only American made roor techs have percs. And sometimes all you need is a price tag to know something is fake. It's not a difficult concept to grasp. Why would someone sell something worth hundreds for 70? Use your fucking head
It's really fucking clear that you WANT this to be real. Take my first bit of advice I gave before you attacked me. Use it for what it is. Don't give a fuck about the branding. If it works fine, fucking enjoy it and quit trying to make it seem like you got a good steal.
Haha for real. My piece was 20 bucks took one look at It and instantly knew it was fake. Don't expect any glass to be real unless it's from a place that actually knows what they're talking about and the price is on point. Cheers -Appreciate what you got cause one day it can all be gone-
It's fake in my opinion. First of all a genuine German Roor will not have a cobalt blue tree perc in it. No percs at all in fact. Even their ash catcher/pre-coolers use only a downstem. No tree percs. American made, "Roor Tech," pieces do use various percs. But again, never seen one with cobalt blue glass percs. Just clear. All that said, if it hits well and is sturdy, who cares? Use it until it breaks.
Any roor with a perc isnt real. There are "roortech"s but they didn't make too many of those. Also, it was 70$ at a random store.

Glass looks nice and thick. Just suspicious that it was only 70, got a good deal either way in my opinion
