asking friend for money back

Discussion in 'Apprentice Marijuana Consumption' started by 420braiseit, Feb 26, 2015.

  1. hey so i got a quarter the other day for 70 and i asked my friend if he wanted to chip in 20 for it. he smoked me up with like a half a gram this week. is it still rude to ask for the money if im just gonna buy more bud. keep in mind that he actually smoke more of that quarter than me.

  2. So you bought a 1/4 for $70, he as going to chip in $20, and he smoked most of it? Why the hell wouldn't you ask him for the money?!?! Right now you're letting him smoke all your weed for free. At least with the $20 you can cut your loss a bit.

  3. yes be upfront with asking for it. is this friend worth your hard earned money?

  4. If he is a real friend, write it off as a loss. If he isn't, ask for cash.

In the future, there is only one way to Split a sack and avoid this situation. As soon as you buy the sack, get some scales and split it according to how much each chipped in. For instance he would get about 28% of the weed if chipping in $20 of $70. That gets him just under 2g. Divide that shit up as soon as you buy it. If he smokes with you out of his 2g, its on him. If you smoke him out with your 6g then its on you and no payment should be expected. Never take an iou for weed. He didn't have the $20 when you get the sack then he doesn't get shit except a friendly sesh. Next time if he wants weed he will have cash.

  5. I tend not to lend friends cash or smoke with them if they're stingy. Some people never smoke me out or share bud when they have some.
Ask him for it back and it just means you know for next time.

  6. oh I get it, he smoked you out with less weed so you're asking if he still owes you?

that's up to you, technically he "owes" you. but if it's the homie I would call it even.

did you smoke the quarter in one sitting/day?

  7. Put it this way buddy, If he owes money for a bag then ask him for the money....if he doesnt want to pay up he isn't a real friend at all....doesn't matter how much he smokes with you etc, with my friends if we both pay for a sack we get it smoke it as much as we want fro the day and when we go home we roll equal amounts of joints out of it, but if i have a bag and I smoke with my friends I don't expect a single thing back from them because 1) It was my choice to smoke them out. 2) I know for a fact that they will smoke some with me at some other time...no need for being pety about who smoked who out but when it comes to actual money then yeah you have every right to ask for it....really hope this makes sense I'm high as a kite and havent been following what I was saying really I just wrote as i thought   :smoking:

  8. I mean I feel like it'd be common courtesy for him to smoke you out in the future. That's what I think whenever I smoke someone out. I don't look for money, but maybe in the future a returned favor.

  9. Bang his mum and subtly hint that you banged her. Be extremely passive-aggressive because people always respond positively to that.
