The Fact that the U.S tried to go to war with Iran a nation that hasn't attacked a country in over 200 years shows why the system is broken. Iran being a nation with the fourth largest Oil Reserves may be the reason. Obama putting Sanctions an act of war on Iran...

Hey, don't say that. That's mean and off putting.

Really doe, tried to go to war? They started it.. by not letting US HAVE a piece of the cake too.

ok ok, so they've been peaceful with other nations, for merely 200 years. How about now? I think they look prretty well prepped for war with all their anti misslery capabilities. ...

When I look at what's going on, almost from afar, a deep sense of passionate anger erupts from inside.

  3. We need war, thats how all the politicians get their money. What would we do without them?

  4.
sounds like more of a defensive position than an offensive one.

who are they going to go attack with their anti missile equipment?

Belive it or not Iran produces no gas even though they export oil. They import all of there domestic gas use. They lack the ability to refine it from crippling sanctions over the years. Easy way to end anything with them is a total blockade and in about 30 days there entire country returns to the stone age.

They have had disruptions in the past in there gas imports that have literally brought them down to the nitty gritty..rationing fuel, black outs brown outs etc.

  6. As Iran has not directly attacked anyone its proxy groups certainly have. But if it was reported today as 100% fact that Iran has zero oil I would be very interested to see if the US still had interest in them? Almost all the problems the US has with Iran are blow back from the US meddling.

Just imagine if oil became obsolete what would be the next resource to go to war for?

The Iranian government is not made up of good guys. I think the anti interventionist crowd of which I am a part of tend to lose the public opinion by giving off the impression that the so called enemies of the US are good guys, they are not,  BTW I am not pointing the finger at anyone in this thread. That does not mean the US has a blank check to wage war against them. And the US government of course is anything but good guys and only get involved if they and the factions they hold loyalty towards i.e. campaign donors can make money off of the conflict.

  8. Black gold out? okay how about blue gold? I think it could be argued very well that clean water will become harder obtain as population mass increases, so will the demand for it.

Believe me when it comes to for-profit-wars, the people that benefit from them will never ran out of ideas to send other people's family members to die for them.

  9. Water would be my guess as well. The metals in Afgan are just icing on the cake. World opium trade control and minerals, sounds like a win win for the controlling nation.

  12. Let's give them a nuke and see what happens for fun? They'll either destroy the Middle East for us or destroy Washington, D.C. . Sounds good either way.

And for the cherry on top, I present the CIA whistleblower convicted* of espionage based on circumstantial evidence, for leaking to a newspaper documents showing CIA falsifying data on Iran's nuclear programme. Doubt anyone heard of this on their nightly news. Everyone keep this in mind next time Benjy comes to Congress or J-DILLA comes to Grass City, or some talking head from Washington DC representing special interests tries to drum up fear.
