Laztjitters perpetual grow

Discussion in 'Hydroponic Grow Journals' started by laztjitter, Feb 26, 2015.

  1. Hey all, and welcome to my perpetual grow. Allow me to start off by saying I am by no means an expert and still consider myself a beginner. Saying that I am open to any and all advise and will take all into consideration.
I have had two successful grows prior and my third is currently in 12/12. So with this one in 12/12 now I have the room to start my perpetual.

    My equipment includes:
    For veg
1 320197000-60 gallon tetra wisperer air pump
    2 10in stones
    6 23w cfl
    1 small fan

    For flower
    2x4x5 tent
400w Apollo hortilux dimmible switchable ballast
    Cool tube
    435cfm hurricane inline fan
    Carbon filter
2 30-60 gal tetra whisperer air pumps
2 12in stones and 2 mid size stones
    2x4 scrog screen.
(Have a 1000w but need a little bigger tent to use it.)

    Nutrients:
    Gh 3 part flora
    Cal/mag
    Ph up/down
    Florilicious
    Liquid kook bloom
    Diamond nectar
    Rapid start

Now in the flower tent I have a white widow 5 days into 12/12. I had been vegging her since Nov 19 and flipped her on Feb 21. Her ppm is at 380 right now (will be raising that in a few days) ph is at a steady 6.1. Tent is at 77f and rh is 36%

Now in the veg area I now have a clone of the ww in 12/12. She has been in veg for 2 days now but is a week and a half old clone. Her ppm is at 175 and ph is 6.0 temp is 73f.

Here in a few weeks I will be popping 1 of 5 strains from herbies (purple bud, ny diesel, strawberry blue, critical jack, critical sensi star, or an afghani strain). As long as the arrive in their package on time , here in a few day, things will be right on track.

My goal is to have 2 in flower 4-5 weeks apart and harvest almost once a month.
While vegging I plan on topping and lst'ing.
So if your up to it follow along with me in my little journey.

  2. Looks great laz. Grabbing a chair upfront.

  3. thanks man, and welcome aboard! You and gold are actually the two are my reason for making the decision to scrog. I Must say I like it more than just lst or just letting it grow.

  4. I'm in. It's cold and is more entertaining than cable.

  5. hey Leroy! Nice to have you along. How's it going?

  7. Alright, so it is update time.
Today is day 6 of 12/12. Her ppm has dropped from 380-346. Ph hasn't changed at all. Temp is sitting at 81f with a rh of 28%. My humidity in the night time has been high though. I am I going to try leaving the inline fan on tonight and see if that helps drop it.

And in the veg area i have the clone. The ppm on her has dropped from 175-162. Ph is 6.1. Temp is at 75. There is now about a 3in root in the res now :D
I decided to go on and try topping the clone today. May have been to soon, I'm not sure. But it'll be a learning experience as this is my first time growing from a clone. I think she will be fine though.

Here in a few weeks the flower tent will be much better to look at.

  9. right there with ya man. Knowledge is key to everything.
Im sure you can learn something in here from my trial and errors. I always think best way to learn is not only studying but hands on also.

  10. Experience is the best teacher but sometimes tuition is a little pricey.

  11. your right on that one also. Biggest part of that tuition is the equipment. Once you have that and a few good genetics your golden.
    Have any grow going?

  12. Yeah man. Did one last year you can link to it through my sig. I'm doing my first DWC now with some good beans. Only a week in and probably not gonna journal.

Well that took a bit longer than ecpected.
For the tent it is day 7 of 12/12. The ph has went up from 6.2 last night to 6.4 this morning. Ppm however has dropped from 328 last night to 297. Here soon i will be adding 2 more gallons of nutrient solution with a ppm goal of around 500 and goal of 6.1 ph. Other than that things are going along great. I kept my inline fan on last night fixing my humidity problem. But now my temp dropped down to 59f. I have a solution that i am going to try tonight and see if that fixes it.

In the veg area, the clone is doing great. So far she has responded well to the topping and has actually put more roots out into the res. The ph has went up a bit on her as well but i have already fixed that. Ph is now back at 6.0. Ppm is 156.

    And now the pictures

  18. Sorry i dont know what happened with the pictures. But here they are.

Still not much going on in tent besides stretch, but that is soon to change.:D

  19. Note to self,
Got the two gallons of solution added. I didnt quite me my 500ppm mark, it was 417. And my ph is at 6.2.

  20. Just had some blue dream... definitely going to go on the to grow list. Very smooth hitting, slight blueberry taste, and the feeling is pretty good.
