I'm by no means an expert but I'll offer my 2 cents ive gained from experience. 1. Get as small a rig as possible. The more glass your dab must pass through means more will stick to the glass and gum up your pipe quicker. 2. Use warm water instead of cold, your dab will be smoother and less "claim" [think wax resin] will stick to your pipe. 3. Get a bottle of 91% isopropyl alcohol and soak your pipe every 3 or 4 days. Reuse the same alcohol, and before long you can evap the alcohol on a pyrex and get some reclaim to smoke (doesnt taste as good as fresh dab, but is waaaay better than resin)! 4. Glass nail > Ti. This is just my personal opinion. Since switching to glass from ti my lungs are in much better shape. Go domeless; daisy is my favorite style. 5. High price doesnt necessarily mean high quality. Ivegone through quite a few rigs, from a $15 j-hook to a $150 honeycomb rig. My alltime favorite is a 4-inch tall nano rig with a simple diffused downstem, for $25, with my daisy on it, ~$20 from ebay. Hope this helps!
