Why so many questions- mold?

    Why do you think we get so many questions from folks asking "is this mold?".  I've never gotten moldy cannabis in 37 years.  The pictures I've seen look like cured bud, so if it's mold, I wonder why.

    Because people are too lazy to educate themselves on what cannabis is actually supposed to look like? I've had moldy bud twice, and it was outdoor grown schwag that wasn't properly cured, completely crispy and I suspect improperly stored (unsealed shopping bags I think.)
    A lot of the pics I've seen from those threads usually has a lot of trichomes, and it's generally people that think that much white is probably mold...

    Probably cause people are getting different looking buds, or lower quality buds, and they don't know that much about weed so they just assume that it's mold. In all honesty though, I don't even think weed can get moldy. Can someone inform me on this?

    see those white patches? two ounces i had just got hit with mold. dude, it's common at this time of year, THAT's why you're seeing these posts popping up all of a sudden. it's the current cold, wet, dark way more often, type of weather that is causing it.

    and if u think those are just a bunch of trichs you're trippin.. the majority of the posts that ask is this mold, i can tell right away cause my buds are going through the same shit, and i have 10 people commenting above me sayin no way its perfectly fine... honestly, way more common up north

    Yes, your information is terribly wrong. Of course weed can get moldy. Why couldn't it?

    haha when i read the title, i was like...wtf, ive never had moldy weed in 15 years haha.  I have no idea, but i think back to my very first buying experiences and at that point your skeptical and dont know much so your always wondering if you got ripped off and usually you scraped up some contact from a friend of a freind of a friend who was really sketchy so you never know what you get...then you somehow get older and find good hook ups and realize moldy weed really isnt a common issue, if an issue at all.

    If you've never had moldy weed in 37 years then you've never had to desperately buy a dub from a shady Mexican dealer at midnight, and I commend you for that, sir. I, myself, have not been so lucky.
