Feeling insecure smoking

Discussion in 'Apprentice Marijuana Consumption' started by Favre827, Feb 25, 2015.

  1. Okay so I started smoking over a year ago. As time went on I started smoking more frequently so now I smoke like 3 Joints a day. I feel like when I smoke in the day time everyone knows I smoked and they're judgemental about it just by the look they give me. Like if I want to go into a store to purchase something I'll be like lemme wait 10 minutes more the maybe sober up. This is one part of smoking I don't enjoy. I love the herb tho. Has anyone has the same experience and if so what did you do to make it better?

  2. I know what you mean. I stopped smoking joints and cigarettes altogether, there are many ways a person can consume cannabis without combusting it and smoking it.

I noticed that my eyes started to become less red, I didn't look as fucked up, and I was getting high, but in a much more clearheaded way, which is a total boost of confidence in its own right.

  3. I simply just don't care what others think.
That has worked for many years for me.

  4. While I agree with you somewhat, don't forget that there is a big difference between just being "high" and looking "baked". Sometimes that total zoinked-out-of-your brains look isn't ideal for certain situations. Just because you are liberal with weed, doesn't mean others are. Remember some people still think maraijuana is bad for you, and consider it drugs.

  5. You've got to learn to not care what everbody thinks when you're stoned, or understand that nobody actually gives a fuck. But yeah, it's actually really common no matter how experienced the person is. The more stoned I am, though, the harder it is to brush those thoughts aside.

  6. All that stuff about not caring what people think is true.  People are generally mostly interested in themselves.  That said, you might think about not smoking when you have to do things that make you uncomfortable.  Your experience does not sound like fun.

  7. It's 2015 dude, chances are nobody really cares as its far more widely accepted than it was say 10 years ago.

I, for one, either don't smoke at all or smoke very little just to catch a buzz if I have anything important to do that requires leaving the house..

  8. So when you know you are going out in public just get "high" and save the "baked/zoinked out of your brains" for when you have taken care of all your shit for the day and are in a place where you can be "baked/zoinked out of your brains" with no worries. Either way for me I don't care nor ever will what others think.

  9. Your not alone .. A lot of us are like that .. Try smoking sativa strains if you can.. A lot better of a high in a social environment.. It works for me .. I used to smoke and sit and think about shit until I got weirded out and ruined my high.. Got nervous in social situations and normally I'm an extremely outgoing person.. Try it. Hope it helps bud.. Nothing sucks more than a wasted high

  10. it is the paranoia aspect that's fuckin with you. it comes with smoking to much herb. the very same thing happened to me so i don't smoke as much now. dont smoke the whole joint, just half. if the last half of the J is not every appealing to you then just roll them a bit smaller.

but it does sound like paranoia is fucking with you a little bit.

  11. If I'm mega baked and gotta go somewhere...body spray, visine, glasses. Anyone says anything to you which in all my years no one has besides my mother ya just play dumb. What? Marijuanas, me? nooooooo.
For the most part though I don't really care but certain settings, if you're a mature adult, do matter. Time and a place for everything.
