My guy was busted back in Nov of last year. Small time guy from what I could tell, but the neighbors called him in. He didn't have much of a background and it was only weed. This occured in cook IL, which doesn't make too big a deal out of weed from what I know but it was in the burbs and not the city. They had his phone and he is still using that same number, which makes me nervous. He told me his lawyer told him not to worry but who knows. He contacted me. Is it ever safe to deal with him again? How long should I avoid him or is it just time to see someone new?
texted. I told him I couldn't make it for a while. He didn't seem too nervous back in november when he told me and then I heard from him a few times in January and again this month. So its been about four months.
my dudes been busted like..2 or times, been going through him like 13 years now and never had problems. its up to you though.
I figured they were looking for those up the chain, not someone like me. I am just very parinoid and my guy is nice but I wonder how smart. He told me he was going to get a new number but never did, which makes me nervous
Sounds sketchy. I've had a dealer who was busted before though, never really mattered though. Few months later she was back to selling.
Tough call for me to make for you.... I deal with folks I've known as friends for years.....but, I'd be cautious......never know what could have gone down with him, prosecution/deal wise......
Yeah I am totally torn - nice guy, good prices great stuff but I would have been more discrete from the get go. That said, cook county leaves it to officer descretion to arrest for weed if you are a user. he is in the south suburbs where I would think they would have had better things to worry about. his texts are obvious too, with strain info and details I have a totally clean record, car is in order etc, but his bust has me nervous
its out of his parents basement. I drive to him. Would the set up an operation there? Before he got caught he use to walk down the block and hop in my car. the last time I met him, which is when he told me he was caught, he jumped in, had me drive around and we went into his house. Aside from that, he hasn't changed at all.
would a chicago suburb go through all that to bust smokers? from what I could tell this guy wasn't bigtime. He was posting on CL but then had some issues with his neighbors and it went from there
He told me his attorney told him he would likely only get drug school. From what I know, he never went to jail but I don't know the details of his case. He said he was getting rid of small time buyers or people he didn't know and continued to contact me after the bust
Either be straight up and ask, say you slanging already? Or just buy a gram. Cause he isn't going to set you up for that. No one has time for that.
He's stupid if he starts selling again, I mean you cant get busted for selling weed then turn around and continue to sell, hell he might want bud from you bro Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
Cops don't care about personal users, when they bust a dealer they want to go up the supply chain, not down it. No point in going after personal users it's a very inefficient use of police resources.
This thread is cracking me up. 1. Police don't care about buyers. 2. Everyone thinks their dealer is Scarface or Kingpin. Dude dealing grams and quarters from him Mom's basement, nobody cares about that. 3. The most your friend would've gotten for his 'bust' is a ticket and a court date. 4. So much drama here lol How do some of you make it through the day.
