Does baking edibles smell

Discussion in 'Weed Edibles' started by lyon915, Feb 24, 2015.

  1. I want to bake some edibles with abv or just regular weed depending on what I am going to have at the time and I can't have it smelling because otherwise my room mate will be mad. Can anyone tell me if there is any smell if so how much and how can I get rid if it

  2. I'm not even gonna lie....I've been curious about this, too. LOL

Not worried about per se anyone being *mad* or anything b/c everyone in my household knows what I do; I'd just like to know what to expect--in terms of my surroundings & I guess *outside* of place, and whatnot.

  3. it smelled when i made firecrackers. i live in a 3 story house, with the microwave exhaust fan on and window open in the kitchen, it only smelled on the first floor. so i wanna say yes lol

  4. it can & likely will stink up your house...be aware, plz.... :)

  5. Yeah it does smell a little. I usually make chocolate edibles so I decarb my weed in the oven for twenty minutes at 220 degrees and it almost smells like I am vaping in the kitchen. It goes away quickly but I have used air freshener to speed up the process.

  6. The smell is pretty strong. However, I had my oven fan going on high, 2 candles burning, and a window open the last time I made edibles and no one I lived with even knew I had made them. The time before that though all I used was the oven fan, and the house wreaked

  7. I know I'm resurrecting an old thread, but for those that want to know, if you wrap your firecrackers in aluminum foil it eliminates the smell. I've heard brownies can reek pretty bad.
