Hi, so I'm a complete noob with grasscity, forums and growing, lol. My first grow, with mainly just the knowledge I've gained from reading a book called 'growing elite marijuana'. Strain- unknown, got a 2 week old baby from a mate. Soil- 20% vermiculite/perlite, 15% peat moss, 25% dirt, 40% potting mix. --Conditions- outdoor, hot, dry but occasional rain, nsw Australia. --Water/food- feeding a 0-15-0 phosphorus tea mixed with liquid potash and a small amount of Charlie carp (fish emulsion). Also a kelp product called seasol in small amounts with another called superthrive. (told by other growers that it works) feeding every morning with about 5L of this mixture every morning. I fed heavily with many different nitrogen rich fertilisers during vegetation. --Stage of growth- I think she stopped stretching about 1-2 weeks ago, and is now filling out. I have no idea how long she will take to finish, no idea. --Pruning- I haven't really pruned her at all, just removed some spindly little branches from the bottom, I'm not sure exactly how to prune, lol. --Plans for after- I plan to flush for 2-4 weeks while gradually removing salt rich soil and replacing with Hydroton or a vermiculite/perlite/peat moss mix. drying slowly and carefully, then finishing with a 4-6 week cure. Anyways she is yellowing on the leaves up near the top with the colas, I know that she will yellow but should it be this high up? How long roughly would she take? Opinions on the plant? That's a nice tree you have there. You are lacking nutrients in the current feed. I would want it more like 6-6-3 or something if using whatever brand fertilizer. Also, I would have used more perlite in the medium. That said, it's not looking bad. You do still have time to throw some more fertilizer in there, but keep in mind that you will see a lot of yellowing in the fan leaves during flower as the plant is "stealing" nutrients from those leaves at this time to grow the bud.
cheers mate, plant ended up getting ripped, they broke every branch but only got away with my largest cola, pulled 670g dried anyways which i am very happy with for my first plant Thanks again though mate, means a lot
