my laptop decided to start spamming me and i need help blocking them. unless if you all can tell me a better way to get rid of all the SPAM! ps i think it's also malware (when your computer opens up a lot of random websites and usually telling me that i have a virus.) correct me if i'm wrong
I use the Adblock plus plugin and it works fine for what I need it to do. No ads on Youtube videos or other videos and I don't even remember my last popup. It also cuts out the commercials that are placed into videos at specific intervals on certain streaming sites and Hulu is the only one I know of that can bypass this. https://adblockplus.org/
Very under appreciated by the masses... With a lot of the free anti-malware and anti-virus programs, you get exactly what you pay for... A good internet security suite is worth the money...I gladly pay yearly for my Kaspersky...worth every cent IMO...
Ad block plus and Ghostery as that ignorant fool above said Keep a good anti malware on computer. Just a thought. Don't use Chrome or IE, Firefox has the most privacy features. Set the cookies and history to clear at closing. Ad problem solved
