Can I use wet buds?

Discussion in 'Weed Edibles' started by Collinsaurus, Feb 23, 2015.

  1. I have some recently chopped bud that is still wet. I don't have the correct means of drying them. Can I bake with them wet? I plan to make chocolate brownsugar cookies.

  2. can i use buds that have not yet been dried or cured for edibles?

  3. ewwwwwwwww

Just dry for a few days

Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum

  5. I don't have the means to dry them. Due to smell. I know it sounds gross but would it work? This is a very potent strain designed by a friend and I dont want it to go to waste.

guess you could, i use fresh frozen material or dry material and never have issues eifer way.
I would head over to an edible thread and double check if your worried :)

May i ask why you have grown bud and cut it down without having a drying method?

    Chef.

  7. I have used fresh  trim and popcorn to make cannabutter, then cookies.  They turned out awesome, but I had a lot of material. Let us know how it works.

  8. Well I didn't actually grow them. A good friend of mine did. I would dry them correctly but the smell is just way to strong. I thought I would be able to tame it with a air filter but the smell still finds its way into other parts of the house. And unfortunately I do not live alone due to me going to school and only having a part time job.  But I will make them sometime soon and report back how they turned out.
    Peace all.

  9. I would seriously advise against it. Wet weed collects mold and smoking mold is, let's say, not healthy.

  10. thanks for the link. I am about to harvest and I know I cannot wait more than a few days of drying  before trying some cookies  :yummy:

  11. I say go for it, they'll get wet from the oil or butter you'll be putting it in ANYWAYS. So I don't see a problem.
