Well if it wasn't clear before, it certainly is now. Those who believe in individual rights and express that the that the state has no authority over their lives are dangerous, violent terrorists that must be stopped!..... -_-

The article tries to justify the claim right wing terrorist groups are on the rise by mentioning 24 instances of sovereign citizen attacks on law enforcement and other government groups. I don't advocate violence against others but I find it very very ironic that the DHS is releasing reports concerning citizens violence while law enforcement in this country murder, rob, and humiliate people on a daily basis.

None of this is really news to me...just really makes me shake my head at the stupidity of it all.

    Your thoughts?

  2. I'm right with ya. No surprise at all, especially from this administration. The real threat is the police and the damned government in general.

  3. fear!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!fear!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! zomygod stay in your homes and continue your sleep mode at all costs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    DHS= domestic hate squad

seriously though isn't it odd they come out with this just when they're begging for funding............................

And then to have the balls to say that "the threat is equal to, and occasionally greater than, the threat from Islamic groups."

Generally nonviolent individualists >= groups beheading and burning people alive

    Who knew...

  5.
Funding that is used for "Your protection"  :hide:

  6. It should be abundantly clear by now, anyone who is a threat to their system will be demonized, harassed, jailed or murdered. I have been saying a person who recognizes and practices their freedom IS the biggest threat to the government, apparently they agree with me. The way they have treated their enemies abroad is how they will treat their enemies here. We will reap what we have sown unless we stand up united.

  7. Sovereign 'citizens' 'extremists' account for 24 'violent attacks' (most attacks are violent but adding that word sounds better i guess) since 2010. 24/5 = less than 5 per year. One every few months out of 330million people and thats the biggest threat? Anyone have the stats on police 'violent attacks' and we can compare how the real violent terrorists compare to the people. The language they use just pisses me off, they toss in the labels 'violent' and 'extremists'. Anyone who doesnt support their status quo system is automatically an extremists or worse, a RADICAL extremist. Enough of the fear mongering bullshit.

...And these statistics are 5-6 years old
not to mention that it fails to include misconduct from federal law enforcement

  9. America totally isn't becoming socialist guys. I promise.

  10. Right winger here. I have more guns and ammo then most of you guys probably have seen in your life. Times I have been arrested...zero, times I have committed crimes...zero, times I even thought about it...closer to zero.

  11. Just waiting for the mass arrests now.

As Edward snowden warned, anyone who posted anything on the internet anywhere, that could be misinterpreted by nsa supercomputers, as being anti government in any way, could be at risk.

  12. I second this :)

  13. The case they cited as an example of right wing terrorism sounded like self defense on the part of the sovereign citizens to me.

  14. Jesus Christ. We have enough going on without these idiots complicating things.

  15. That's what it sounded like to me as well, although I admit I'm not very familiar with the cases in the article.
The state is beating the domestic terrorism drum pretty loudly whether it be "attacks" like in this report or pushing the fear that everybody and their children are joining ISIS.

That's kind of what I'm trying to get at. With this report and its vague language anarchists, libertarians, and pretty much anyone who asserts that the state doesn't have the authority over you could easily be branded as terrorists.

Yuri - Ill let you know when they find me... if i have the chance ;-)

  18.
    becoming.... lol

  19. The Establishment has been demonizing gun owners for decades. I'm not sure when they started hinting that they (we) are terrorists, but shortly after 9/11 if not before.

Governments always need an enemy to justify their expansion. If an enemy doesn't exist they will create one. A "terrorist," especially since 9/11, is anyone who opposes Washington.

\t“There's no way to rule innocent men. The only power any government has is the power to crack down on criminals. Well, when there aren't enough criminals, one makes them. One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws.” -- Ayn Rand

  20. Ain't that the truth. Just look at the glaring examples that are so in your face it is disgusting, the war on drugs and the war on terrorism. It is sickening that so many people are so blind to the monster staring them right in the eyeball and even defend it's barbaric actions. They are brainwashed to the extent that they believe that they are actually on the side of the machine and want it to grow so they also do vicariously.
